An Insecure, Apocalyptic Yeehaw

I thought about starting off this post with one of my nine-hundred-year-old jokes about rising from the depths and resurrecting as a garbage-laden phoenix or triumphantly-in-cheek reemerging to a readership that's probably moved on (and with, might I say, a hell of a good reason: my inactive period has been--what--four years now?). I thought about it a lot. Like wondering what jokes were too old to be inside-jokes now a lot. I imagine a lot of us have changed fandom habits, fanfiction reading patterns, or gotten swamped in Real World Job and School Shit that we just left for a bit. It's been years. I don't even know who's still here. How the heck do I even start to do this again? So, life update: I moved literally to the other side of the US to a city I'd only been to once before. I love it. I came out to nearly everyone. I feel like grad school workload + teaching kicked my ass for a hot sec, and I've spent like the last year and a half excavating my personality out from the stress

Hello! Just started reading some of your stories especially the Doctor x Reader ones which are brilliant
I applaud you for how intriguing and in-character you keep the Doctor.
That's the hard thing with Fancharacter X Reader/OC shippings and stories...it's hard to keep the characters ....."in-character"
a lot of people make a story too short for any definition, making the doctor way OOC. But I think you hit it right on the nail. Well done.
